Our Power & Energy project experience includes:
ForeRunner Corporation is in the preliminary design phase of two 150 MW circulating fluidized bed units for Black Hills Energy Capital. The plant will burn coal from the Anadarko Minerals Haystack mine. The design will incorporate the latest emission control technologies and by definition be a zero discharge facility. Equipment specifications, plant layout drawings and cost estimates will be included for the final review by the client. ForeRunner Corporation is under contract to Tierra Verde Energy LLC to engineer, design and construct a 28.5 MW biomass fire power plant in New Mexico. The plant design will incorporated advance control technologies to mitigate the need for a PSD permit, minimizing the plant permit schedule. This fast track project employs our plant modular design and construction approach, along with significant utilization of our FTP site. ForeRunner was awarded a contract by the Arkansas River Power Authority to convert and re-design the City of Lamar Power plant from its current Natural Gas fired configuration at 25 rmw to burn coal at 45 rmw. The project includes the addition of a new topping turbine to increase generation and the addition of a new coal fired boiler with all of the clean coal technologies available. ForeRunner is under contract with CSU to design, engineer and install a topping turbine in the district steam heating plant. | | ||||||||||||||
The Power & Energy Group within ForeRunner Corporation provides engineering and construction services to this industry in a number of unique ways. The Group provides design, engineering and consulting services to energy clients ranging from public and investor owned utilities to independent power producers to small industrial energy users.
