Our Safety
ForeRunner Corporation has chosen not only to make safety a priority but to make it one of our Corporate Core Values!
We believe that in order to provide a stable foundation for our safety program we must train our people not only in safety topics that are required, but we also provide awareness training. Awareness training enables our people to recognize hazards associated with work performed by others that may impact their safety and well being. Within Forerunner we have several diverse work groups. Our safety training plan has been developed with that in mind.
ForeRunner management is committed to providing an incident free workplace.
In order to achieve this goal we have implemented reporting guidelines. All incidents including near misses/potential hazards are reported and investigated. A monthly report is generated detailing the incident as well as the corrective action taken to prevent a similar incident from occurring. This report is discussed with all personnel during a monthly safety meeting.
A monthly safety statistic update is generated and disseminated to all managers. This report contains:
- Hours Worked (for each month and YTD)
- Near Miss Reports
- Vehicle/Equipment Incidents
- First Aid Injuries
- Recordable Injuries
- TRIR (for each month and YTD)
- Severity Rate (for each month and YTD)

ForeRunner Corporation Safety Manual, Environmental Plan and Work Guidelines are revised annually by the Corporate Safety Coordinator and reviewed by ForeRunner Managers. These approved updated documents are then distributed and replace the outdated manuals.
