Jay Allin
Manager of Projects
Jay was promoted to the position of Senior Director of Projects in January 2008. In this new capacity Jay's responsibilities are as follows. First, he is responsible for all project work originating from our various FRC project teams. To that end he directly supervises Program Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Discipline Managers within our organization. Secondly, Jay is responsible for implementing corporate initiatives such as Project Information Systems and the Quality Matrix. Third, Jay is in a support capacity for Corporate Business Development by generating business proposals and managing client relations. Lastly, Jay actively participates in all company matters as a member of the Executive Management Team.
Jay has worked as a Project Manager and Project Engineer in the energy industry for nearly fourteen years. He has extensive experience in equipment design, compression, gas gathering, and pipelines. Jay's project experience includes being the Project Manager/Project Engineer on numerous gas gathering pipelines and field and mainline compressor stations. Jay has served as Project/Applications Engineer for the design of complete engine and electric motor driven gas compressor packages, generator sets, and pump packages to meet customer specifications and applicable standards.
Jay has earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, from Colorado School of Mines.
