Robert F. DeHerrera
Senior Director of Projects
Robert was promoted to the position of Senior Director of Projects in January 2008. In this new capacity Robert's responsibilities are as follows. First, he is responsible for all project work originating from our various FRC project teams. To that end he directly supervises Program Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Discipline Managers within our organization. Secondly, Robert is responsible for implementing corporate initiates such as Project Information Systems and the Quality Matrix. Third, Robert is in a support capacity for Corporate Business Development by generating business proposals and managing client relations. Lastly, Robert actively participates in all company matters as a member of the Executive Management Team.
Prior to his recent promotion, Robert was the Manager of Engineering for the Mechanical and Process engineering disciplines. Robert held this position for just shy of 2 years from June 2006 to December 2007. His job responsibilities in this assignment included: staffing, hiring, developing engineering standards and procedures, mentoring, training, and promoting teamwork and communication within disciplines and with the other engineering disciplines.
Robert served the Company in a project capacity from his hire date of August 1999 until May 2006 when he was promoted to Engineering Manager. Robert started as a Project Engineer and worked his way quickly to a Project Management function. He has successfully managed numerous projects encompassing all engineering, design, and construction aspects for various pipeline, gathering, and compression projects. Robert has managed projects for such clients as: Enron, BP, Red Cedar, MarkWest Hydrocarbon, Kinder Morgan, Black Hills, Conoco Phillips, Kerr McGee, and Miller Dyer.
Robert's prior work experience includes 8+ years experience working for an operating company formerly known as Amoco Corporation. Robert's experience with Amoco was engineering based in facilities and production assignments and exclusively in the San Juan Basin.
Robert graduated college with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 1991.
