Bill Groskopf
Vice President, Special Projects
Bill has spent more than twenty-five years as an engineer and businessman in the energy industry. Bill founded ForeRunner Corporation in 1996 upon leaving as Manager of Engineering and Principal of Trigon Engineering, Inc.
Bill has successfully led business ventures in the Energy industry spanning from wildcat drilling ventures in oil and gas, to electrical power generation and utility power distribution. Bill has served as a business development leader in the conceptualization, development and implementation of a 32-megawatt cogeneration facility for the University of Colorado. He has also successfully managed ventures in the development and installation of turbo expanders, turnkey metering and gas regulation facilities, large gas compressor stations, pipeline, and treating facilities. As an independent business developer, Bill has teamed with companies in developing international project work for gas production in Northern Ireland, and gas distribution in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
Bill brings his vast experience as a Business Developer, Project Manager, and Engineer in his role of president of ForeRunner Corporation. His business experience and well directed knowledge has helped ForeRunner forge aggressively into a dynamic markets.
Bill earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska and his MBA from Cal. State University. Bill is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California and Colorado. He is also an accomplished writer and has published various technical papers for professional and technical journals.
